I read this book in a little under 48hours. It has became a HUGE talking point with my partner, my friends, my clients and even during a recent Skype call with my Dad. This book is BEYOND incredible. Never before has a book made me feel so empowered and so motivated. If you’re a woman in business, an entrepreneur, a go-getter or just need a little self belief in what you CAN achieve then Carrie Green is your girl and She Means Business is your book. My copy is packed full of scribbles, notes, post-its and highlights. There is too much to tell you…

The one thing that really stood out for me about this book was the way it flows and the way it’s written. If you’re about to start a new business you can start on page one, follow all the ‘She Means Action’ exercises and by page 239 you’ll be armed with just about every word of encouragement you ever needed to turn your ideas into reality. She Means Business is packed full of quotes and right at the back there is a 28day business challenge which I’m planning on having a go at too.

Carrie is totally honest about her own journey throughout the book. Sharing entries from her own journal, talking about how she financed herself and how she made the most of any opportunity that came her way make the book incredibly infectious. Carrie really makes you believe that if she can run a hugely successful business so can you. And I love that.

It’s an easy read too – broken down chapters, exercises and SO MUCH to highlight or markup for later. It will give you a lot to think about. Like having your own business mentor right in front of you.

If all that wasn’t enough, throughout the book there are a whole load of free resources to download including the Miracle Month challenge which I’m part way through and loving.

Just one thing I really wish the book came with…enough space alongside the ‘She Takes Action’ exercises to make some notes. That would have saved me some post-it notes!

‘If you think you’re too small to be effective, you’ve never been in bed with a mosquito’

‘You can turn your ideas into reality and build a wildly successful business, because if one person can do it, we can all do it.’

‘That’s all it takes – consistent action to move forward. That’s how you create success on purpose.’
‘Be yourself no matter what. Some will adore you and some will hate everything about you. But who cares? It’s your life. Make the most of it.’
‘Don’t compare your Chapter 1 to someone elses Chapter 20.’

I’ve carried this book around with me since I finished it and it’s a book I’ll keep referring back to time and time again. If you’re a women with a dream or a business that you’re building, I bet you’ll carry it with you too!
